Impacting the 419

Loving our neighbors in the 419 isn’t just a slogan—it’s a way of life. Through our partnership with Fellowship Matters, we host a free grocery giveaway every six weeks at Centennial Manor in Sylvania, an event we call the Neighborhood Nibble.
We also partner with Fellowship Matters throughout the year to serve our unsheltered friends in downtown Toledo. You’ll find us there on select Saturday mornings from 9:00–11:00 a.m., at the corner of Michigan and Adams.

We host fun events at the church each year such as BOOgie Fest, in partnership with the Toledo Symphony, and Green Vibes, an event celebrating and creating awareness about creation care.

Every year we take lunch to the teachers at Maplewood Elementary.

We join with other faith communities to march in the PRIDE parade in Toledo.
We also regularly collect clothes to share through the Church Women United Thrift Shop on Chrissy Road, donate necessities for Leading Families Home, and partner with St. Paul’s UMC Marketplace for All People to feed, clothe, and care for our neighbors.
