What do you believe

We believe every life matters and no life is beyond redeeming. Jesus taught us that a life with God is possible and that by trusting him, we can find the forgiveness and healing we need to begin living it. The church is a community of love and forgiveness that can help us find and live this life together.

As United Methodists, we believe every life matters and no life is beyond redeeming. God’s very nature is love, made known in the Holy Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who invite us to step into a life beyond our imagining. We believe that God’s grace goes before us, embracing us from the very beginning of our lives. Jesus taught us that a life with God is possible and that by trusting him, we can find the forgiveness and healing we need to begin living it. The Holy Spirit leads us to become more Christ-like by learning to follow in his ways. The church is a community of love and forgiveness that can help us find and live this life together. To be saved is to find your real life, the life God has always hoped for you, and to begin living it with the help of the Holy Spirit now. This is God’s desire for each of us, and what Jesus means by inviting us to be “born anew” (John 3:7).
