Grace Children’s Hospital in Haiti functions as a teaching hospital to trainmidwives in the care of pregnant women.  The gift given in your name to Grace Children’s Hospital will train and equip a midwife for a year.  Midwives are the principal source of care for pregnant women in Haiti.  Once formally trained, a midwife receives a certificate and delivery kit and is required to attend regular refresher courses.
