Have you noticed an area of need in our community? Is there a solution you can implement to love your neighbors in the 419? Sylvania First United Methodist Church will be giving out grants of up to $1000 to young people in grade school through college, who have an idea of how to make a difference in our community. Winners will also be paired with a nonprofit professional in the Toledo or Sylvania area to help mentor and support them.
The “Heart Tank” applies the same ethos as the show “Shark Tank,” however, those invited to appear at the in-person program will be those chosen to receive a grant.
