Henderson 2017

We experienced Jesus wherever our feet  hit the ground from the time we left Church until we were safely home.

Five of us started our Henderson trip on Saturday. We attended Sunday School and Church at Hope UM with a membership of about 30. We were invited to a potluck with plenty of good food and fellowship. We now recognize people  we have met from past years and feel the Christian love.

On our last day after dinner we were able to visit with a man and lady we visit each year. We worked on their home one of the first trips to Henderson and they are happy to see us.  They always thank us for all we have done and all the other teams that have helped them and invited us back next year.

We are blessed every year working on many projects for many people with many different needs and pray we have helped them in some way. This year as a team  we worked on 4 different projects : tear off siding and putting new on, paneling inside a house, skirting a trailer, finishing a addition with windows ,siding wiring, insulation and drywall. All the projects were not finished but teams will be in after us to finish them

We work hard ,learn new skills, learn about the area and  make new friends. We are the hands and feet for Jesus and the people we serve are watching us so we pray we are beaming  the LOVE of Jesus. Brenda Scnaidt
