There are so many ways you can love your neighbor!
  • You can come to the church on one or all of the following Saturdays in October; 5, 19, and the 26, to help cut and tie blankets to hand out at Fellowship Matters (formerly SMCP)
  • You can come to the church on Sunday, October 20 to wave and smile at everyone as the parade ends in our parking lot.
  • Visit a neighbor you haven’t seen in a while.
  • Introduce yourself to a neighbor you haven’t met.
  • Bake cookies and take them to someone who doesn’t get many visitors.
  • Go visit someone in a nursing home.
  • Call a friend you have not talked to in a while.
  • Open time downtown on a Saturday with Fellowship Matters.
  • Share Halloween fun at the Halloween Hike Saturday, October 26, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Join in the fun at an indoor trick or treat event on Sunday, October 27, for Slimetime at Sylvania First 5:00-7:00 p.m.

“Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law?”He replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You must love your neighbor as you love yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.” – Matthew 22:36-40
